Abstract
This project establishes the foundation for developing UConduct into a scalable product enhancing conducting education. It is a web-based conducting training tool designed to support music students with data-driven feedback. Using a combination of camera-based motion tracking and machine learning models, the system captures baton motion allowing students to practice gesture styles evaluating technique accuracy. By providing structured data-driven support outside the classroom, UConduct enables more consistent skill development, reduces the need for continuous instructor oversight, and helps students learn efficiently through accessible, personalized practice.
